ENFIELD CELTIC 4 PARKVILLA 7
Peter Mc Manus Cup Semi Final
Division 1 leaders ECFC took on Premier leaders Parkvilla this evening in a very entertaining cup game in Enfield. A poor start from the home side saw them behind early on after a mix up at the back. The lads equalised through a fine effort from Falu only to give another goal away shortly. A bit rattled by the opposition Enfield gave away three more goals to trail 1-5 at the break. The home team came out strong in the second half with goals from Silumko and Noah to bring the sides closer at 3-5. More problems at the back for Enfield saw the gap widen to 3-6 before Falu netted again 4-6. With time running out and the home team battling hard they were once again caught out by a long ball finished neatly by Villa . A great performance by both teams but Parkvilla advance and we congratulate them and wish them well in the Final . Thanks to all who came to support the Enfield 15s and well done to manager Gar Pepper who has these boys playing lovely football. The League title can be wrapped up by Enfield on Saturday at home to Drogheda boys . Please come down and support the lads again .

COLM COOPER CUP SEMI FINAL
ENFIELD CELTIC 3 BOHERMEEN CELTIC 4
A thrilling game of football for the girls and boys of Enfield Celtic and Bohermeen Celtic saw the home team narrowly beaten . Bohermeen took the lead with an early free kick . James McDonagh who was inventive throughout the whole game equalised with a fine strike from outside the box . A brilliant individual goal from Adam Boland put Enfiled 2-1 ahead .Nixon Campion made a fine save with the Bohermeen striker in on goal before Braeden Carroll Brown slotted in a third for Enfield to give the home team a 3 – 1 lead at half time . Bohermeen showed great determination after the break with a string of fine saves from Jack Fitzgerald to stop Enfield from extending the lead. The oppositions persistence paid off and they scored 3 times in the second half to defeat a brave home side 3-4. Both sets of players should be very proud of their individual performances as each and everyone gave 100%. A great evenings entertainment for the many supporters present . We wish Bohermeen the best of luck in the final and congratulate them on their win .👍
